Creative direction and photography for Hoot Magazine's FW22 Issue 22 “Pure Being”

Permanent Record is a project that delves into the intricate relationship between the body, clothing, and tattoos. In many cultures, tattooed bodies are often viewed through a lens of stigma, perceived as impure or marked by negative connotations. This project challenges these perceptions by exploring how fabric can transform the way we see tattooed bodies, acting as a medium to highlight the inherent beauty of these permanent markings.

Permanent Record creates a transient interplay between the permanent and the ephemeral. The imagery captures a dream-like quality, presenting tattooed bodies in an ethereal light that underscores their resilience and individuality. This photoshoot invites viewers to reconsider the narratives and identities that these tattoos represent, transforming societal perceptions and celebrating the artistry of the tattooed form.
